DHT and Carnitine

Hello to whom ever these thoughts of mine reach.


Christmas has come and gone and the diet break and correcting finished then began on boxing day (December 26th). Someone I wish i was like is Noah Ryan (https://www.noahryan.co/). For those unfamiliar with his work you might be familiar with fruit till noon or shred maxing. Either way the point is I would love to do fruit until noon. But for me that is not a reasonable idea as i have to try and maintain a lot of muscle for Shot Put and Discus and that means trying to stuff my protein into a short window at the end of the day makes for meals I hate, digestive discomfort, recovery issues and me quickly abandoning my diets.


A part of his work that I do want to try is increasing dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and using carnitine. He mentions in podcasts that taking Tribulus terestis increases DHT and aids in body composition, sexual health, and energy levels. So I have started taking Tribulus . I noticed that within a few hours of taking it I had more motivation to go do physical activity so so far for me this works.


The second aspect I will be doing is orally supplementing Levocarnitine. I have had some energy issues when doing training and daily activities. i have tried different diets, and nothing seems to be a permanent solution so i am exploring if I have a problem shuttling carbs and fats into my cells for use. Levocarnitine is supposed to aid with this. Due to low bioavailability it can take at least 2 weeks to increase the bodies levels.

Back to Work (for 4 weeks)
